Summarly does not collect any data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no server operated by us. This policy explains what that means in practice.
Every recording, its audio file, the text it was turned into, any summary and any task list, is stored on your iPhone. None of it is transmitted to us and we have no way to read it.
The microphone is used only while you are recording, and recording only starts when you begin it. Audio is written straight to a file on the device. It is not streamed anywhere and it is not accessed at any other time.
Summarly uses Apple's speech recognition with offline recognition required on every request. This means the audio is processed on your iPhone and is never sent to Apple or to anyone else. When iOS asks for speech recognition permission it shows a standard sentence about speech data being sent to Apple; that describes the framework's default behaviour, which Summarly does not use. If a language has no offline model on your iPhone, transcription fails with an explanation rather than falling back to a network service.
On supported iPhones, Summarly uses Apple's on-device foundation models to produce a summary from the transcript. This processing happens entirely on your device. Summaries are built only from what the recording says; the app adds no advice, opinions or conclusions of its own.
Backup is switched off by default. If you turn it on in Settings, your recordings sync through your own Apple account using Apple's iCloud service, so you can restore them on another device. That data is governed by Apple's privacy policy and remains inaccessible to us. You can turn it off at any time.
Summarly Pro is sold through the App Store. Payments and subscription status are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details. The app only asks the system whether a valid purchase exists.
When you export text, Markdown, subtitles or an audio file, the file is created on your device and shared only through the destination you choose. That destination's own privacy terms then apply.
Deleting a recording removes its audio and its text. A recording's menu also offers deleting the audio while keeping the text. Settings contains an option to delete everything at once. Deleting the app removes the local database entirely. If iCloud backup was on, removing the data from your iCloud account is also possible through Apple's own settings.
Summarly is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
Laws about recording conversations differ by country and sometimes by region. Summarly does not check them for you. Recording a conversation you are part of, and telling the other people present, is your responsibility.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new date. Material changes affecting how data is handled will also be noted in the app's release notes.

Uygulamayı silmek yerel veritabanını tamamen kaldırır. iCloud yedeklemesi açıksa, verileri iCloud hesabınızdan kaldırmak da Apple'ın kendi ayarlarından mümkündür.
Summarly çocuklara yönelik değildir ve hiç kimseden veri toplamaz.
Konuşma kaydetmeye ilişkin yasalar ülkeden ülkeye, bazen bölgeden bölgeye değişir. Summarly bunları sizin adınıza denetlemez. Parçası olduğunuz bir konuşmayı kaydetmek ve ortamdakilere bunu söylemek sizin sorumluluğunuzdadır.
Bu politika değişirse güncel sürüm bu adreste yeni bir tarihle yayımlanır. Verinin işlenişini etkileyen esaslı değişiklikler uygulamanın sürüm notlarında da belirtilir.
