Lighten does not collect any data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no server operated by us. Your photos never leave your iPhone. This policy explains what that means in practice.
Lighten asks for access to your photo library so it can look for repeated shots, blurred photos, screenshots and long videos. The library is read on your iPhone and nothing is uploaded. You can grant access to your whole library or to a selection of photos; if you choose a selection, Lighten only ever sees the photos you picked.
To find near-identical shots, Lighten uses Apple's Vision framework to compute a numeric fingerprint of each photo on your device. A fingerprint is a short list of numbers. It cannot be turned back into a picture, and it is only ever compared against other fingerprints from your own library.
Lighten never deletes anything on its own. Every deletion goes through the system's own confirmation sheet, shown by iOS rather than by us, and it does not happen unless you confirm it. Deleted photos go to Recently Deleted in the Photos app and stay there for about 30 days, which is where the space actually returns when that album is emptied. Until then the photos can be restored, by you, from the Photos app.
iOS does not tell apps exactly how much storage each photo occupies. The figures Lighten shows are calculated from each photo's dimensions and format, so they are close but not exact. They are labelled as approximate in the app for that reason.
Lighten Pro is sold through the App Store. Payments and subscription status are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details. The app only asks the system whether a valid purchase exists.
Deleting the app removes the fingerprint cache, the clean-up history and every other thing Lighten has stored. Your photos are untouched by this, since they belong to the Photos app and not to us. Photo library access can also be withdrawn at any time in the iOS Settings app.
Lighten is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new date. Material changes affecting how data is handled will also be noted in the app's release notes.

Lighten Pro App Store üzerinden satılır. Ödemeler ve abonelik durumu Apple tarafından yönetilir. Ödeme bilgilerinizi hiçbir zaman görmeyiz. Uygulama yalnızca sisteme geçerli bir satın alma olup olmadığını sorar.
Uygulamayı silmek parmak izi önbelleğini, temizlik geçmişini ve Lighten'ın sakladığı her şeyi kaldırır. Fotoğraflarınıza bu işlem dokunmaz; onlar bize değil Fotoğraflar uygulamasına aittir. Fotoğraf erişimini istediğiniz zaman iOS Ayarlar uygulamasından geri alabilirsiniz.
